About Rocco
Building a Stronger Community
In 2003, drawn by Aurora’s small-town charm and welcoming atmosphere, Rocco Morsillo and his wife, Tina, made the decision to call the community home. They later grew their family here, raising their two sons in Aurora.
Rocco’s career is rooted in his passion for architecture and construction. After studying Construction Engineering, he founded his own construction, development, and property investment company in 2006, an Aurora-based business that continues to operate locally today. Through his work, Rocco has developed strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, and responsible planning.
Deeply committed to the community, Rocco is an active volunteer and advocate. He has served for several years on Aurora’s Heritage Advisory Committee and has contributed to local events such as Doors Open and Heritage Week. He is also an engaged member of the Olde Aurora Ratepayers Association and participates in community watch initiatives. In addition, Rocco has served for many years on the board of a local employment area condominium.
Outside of his professional and community work, Rocco enjoys making the most of everything Aurora has to offer. In the summer, he can often be found at the farmers’ market, attending Concerts in the Park, lawn bowling, or fishing. In the winter, he embraces the season with skiing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing, truly appreciating the Canadian winter lifestyle.
