I chose Aurora for my family
Rocco Morsillo has proudly called Aurora home since 2003, when he and his wife, Tina, chose the town for its close-knit community and small-town character. They are raising their two sons here, where family, sports, and community involvement are at the heart of their daily lives.
Rocco is committed to being a strong, thoughtful voice on Council, focused on making decisions that keep Aurora a great place to raise a family, both today and for generations to come. He understands that the choices we make now will shape our community’s future, and he is ready to work hard to ensure that future is a positive one for everyone.

Rocco Morsillo is involved in Aurora. Together, he and I serve on the town’s Heritage Advisory Committee, sit on the Olde Aurora Ratepayers Association Executive, and lawn bowl at McMahon Park. He is also Chair of the Induction Committee for the Aurora Sports Hall of Fame. Rocco is a neighbour, a friend, and a busy guy.
To familiarize himself with current issues, Rocco has been sitting in on council and various committee meetings since mid-2025. He has delegated at a number of them, as well. He does his homework and speaks truthfully and thoughtfully, offering insight and possible solutions, yet is open to different perspectives.
Being friendly, approachable, and a good listener, Rocco truly cares about our town and the people who live here. He is an excellent candidate for the position of Ward 1 Councillor.

I have lived in Aurora for almost 20 years and known Rocco Morsillo for at least 12 of them. I have been fortunate to be a resident who is deeply involved with various businesses, not-for-profits and other community groups.
Over the years I have watched Rocco Morsillo passionately become involved in Aurora at an immediate neighbourhood level as we both live in the Upper Northeast Heritage Quadrant of Aurora, as well as in a more broad-reaching capacity.
He is always the first to engage in community discussions on various platforms of social media as well as actively being involved in various community organizations and groups. His deep involvement in these groups comes equally from being an actual compassionate community member as well as from a more knowledgeable perspective having his own construction company and post secondary understanding about all the pieces involved in an integrated town and community.
Rocco Morsillo handles all matters that he engages with, in a neutral, respectful manner. I believe this kind of temperament and response in a community is essential for remaining impartial and without the drama that can tend to arise in any level of politics. He responds with intelligence, integrity and open-mindedness, hoping to grasp and explore all angles of a situation that might arise in our own little heritage community neighborhood but also in full town manner.
